This four day immersion will cover the core concepts of Ayurveda, specifically its applications for asana, pranayama, mantra, and the subtle body. Though not limited to yoga teacher-trainees and active teachers, this course will explore how to bring these ancient teachings to students, including customizing yoga classes to be dosha-balancing and teaching seasonal flows as well as classes that are designed by time of day.

In a world of information overload is it easy to become reliant on external information to tell us how we should feel, what we should eat, and so on. Yet each of us has an inner guide that we can learn to trust steer us in the direction most aligned with who we are.
In this workshop we will explore this difference between the will of the ego, ideas & thought-forms of an active mind, and the innate wisdom of the body. We will use movement, guided meditation, journal prompts and group discussion to help us each listen in and reattune to our inner wisdom — our sacred guide.
